Hi there, thank you for taking the time to visit our About Us page. My name is Jackson Chua, and I have worked in the hardware and machinery industry for more than 45 years. For me, this field is not just an industry — it's a passion. It was my vision to invest my insight, time and energy to fill the hydraulics supplies gap in the marine industry.

I started Chuan Kok in 1982. It wasn't easy at all. I began promoting myself in Singapore with very little luck. It took a year before I landed a major contract supplying valves and fittings to Far East Levingston Shipbuilding (FELS), since renamed Keppel FELS.

I remember providing very specific technical help and suggesting improvements to their systems. Far East Levingston commented on my work ethic and was grateful for the technical expertise and the great job we did. Since then, my determination has only grown. Over the years we became a leading supplier of hydraulic components — providing professional advice and quality products. And there's nothing else my team and I would rather do.
