Stauff filler breathers are used in hydraulic tanks to keep pressure from building up as the fluid expands and contracts.
Stauff filler breathers are made of different materials. For instance, the cap is made of steel, an alloy of Iron and Carbon while the breather basket is made of zinc-plated steel. Besides, the bayonet flange is made of chromium-plated steel.
The working temperature range that stauff filler breathers can withstand is from -40°C to +120°C.
There are five types of stauff filler breathers which are Metal Filler Breathers in the lockable SMBL series, Plastic Filler Breathers in the SPB series, Plastic Filler Breather in SES Series, Bayonet and Screw-in Filler Breathers in SPBN Series, and Giant Air Breathers in Style SGB120C and SGB90C.
