A 3 PC ball valve has three pieces — a body and two end caps — connected to pipe ends by welding, threading or with flanges. The quarter-turn handle turns 90° to open or close the valve, with a locking device that prevents accidental operation when locked in the open or close position. It helps avoid line shutdown during maintenance and separates the valve connection ports from the body. A full bore ball valve has a bore the same size as the pipe’s internal diameter. The 3 PC ball valve is available in stainless steel SS316 with PTFE sealing.
Threaded End
The 3 PC threaded end ball valve is used to allow or stop fluid flow in a pipework system. It is full bore with a quarter-turn handle that turns 90° to set the valve open or closed, and a locking mechanism keeps the handle from turning accidentally. It consists of the valve body and two threaded end connections, assembled together with bolts through the bolt holes and tightened with nuts. The two threaded connections join to threaded-type pipe ends before the body is assembled onto them, and the body can be removed for repair by removing the nuts and bolts without removing the end connections. Available in stainless steel SS316 with PTFE sealing.
Socket Weld End
The 3 PC socket weld ball valve starts or stops fluid flow in a pipeline system. It is full bore with a quarter-turn handle turning 90° to open or close the valve, with a locking device to fix it in the open or close position. It consists of two socket weld end connections and the valve body, assembled with bolts and nuts. The two socket weld connections are welded to plain-end pipe before the body is assembled onto them, and the body can be removed for cleaning without removing the welded connections. Available in stainless steel SS316 with PTFE sealing.

3 PC Butt Weld End Ball Valve
The 3 PC butt weld ball valve is a full bore ball valve installed on a pipeline to allow or stop fluid flow. It consists of three pieces — two butt weld connection ends and the valve body — assembled with bolts and nuts. The two butt weld connections are welded to butt-weld-type pipe ends before being attached to the valve body, and the body can be removed for maintenance without removing the welded connection ends.
