A 3 way ball valve is a 3-port ball valve used to select the flow direction in a pipeline. It is a full bore ball valve with a quarter-turn handle; rotating the handle 90° selects a flow direction according to the arrow directional marking on the valve.
This L-Port type 3 way ball valve allows fluid to flow in a 90° direction. For example, when the arrow marking faces left and centre, fluid can flow from the centre port to the left port (or left to centre) while the right port is closed; when the arrow faces right and centre, fluid can flow from the centre port to the right port (or right to centre) while the left port is closed. The L-Port valve has 1 inlet port and 1 outlet port, with the remaining port closed to block flow. It is available in stainless steel SS316 with PTFE sealing.
