The PN16 / PN40 SS316 Wafer Type Ball Valve is used to permit or stop the flow in a pipeline system. It is designed and manufactured according to API 608, and inspection and testing of the valve is carried out according to the API 598 standard.
It is a full bore ball valve with quarter-turn operation. By turning the handle through 90°, the ball can be set to the open or closed position. Both end connections are flanged to PN16 or PN40 standard, and accessories such as bolts, nuts and a gasket are required to connect between the two flanges.
